Advanced Riding Class
A 10-Month Journey Toward Precision, Partnership, and Feel
Step further into the heart of Heart and Hooves Horsemanship with our Advanced Riding Class—designed for riders who are ready to deepen communication, refine timing, and create softness and responsiveness in every step. This program connects everything you’ve built on the ground to purposeful work in the saddle. It’s not about patterns or performance—it’s about developing a horse that moves with confidence, balance, and willingness because of the clarity found in your leadership.
What You’ll Experience in Advanced Riding
Throughout the program, you’ll build on your foundational horsemanship and step into the finer details of advanced riding. We focus on precision without pressure, progress without tension, and confidence for both horse and rider.
You’ll learn to:
• Use your seat, legs, and hands with intention and clarity
• Create softness, responsiveness, and lightness in your horse
• Strengthen your timing, feel, and energy awareness
• Develop balance, body control, and engagement in your horse
• Connect groundwork to every movement in the saddle
• Ride with purpose, confidence, and quiet leadership
This class meets you where you are and helps you move forward with steady, meaningful progress.

Why Advanced Riding?
Advanced Riding at Michelle Jerry Heart & Hooves Horsemanship is not about riding harder—it’s about riding with more intention. We are not chasing bigger moves or faster responses. We are cultivating:
• A horse that thinks with you
• A rider who communicates clearly
• A partnership that feels good on both sides
We look at the horse and rider as a complete team—mind, body, and heart. When your horse moves softly off your seat, waits for your energy, and carries themselves with balance and confidence, it’s because trust and understanding have been built from the inside out.
This is where groundwork, liberty, ranch work, trail work, and riding all come together.
This is where your partnership becomes quiet, connected, and powerful.

Ranch Riding Class
Our Ranch Riding Class is a 10-month journey focused on building a horse and rider partnership rooted in clarity, technique, and feel.
In this class, we take the solid groundwork you’ve developed and bring it into the saddle with purpose—refining communication, timing, and responsiveness to create a horse that moves with balance and confidence. Ranch Riding isn’t just about patterns or rail work; it’s about shaping a horse that is willingly guided, mentally engaged, and physically prepared to navigate obstacles, transitions, and real-life ranch scenarios. Step by step, you and your horse will learn to think together, move together, and ride as one.

What You’ll Experience in Ranch Riding
Throughout this program, you’ll take the foundational horsemanship you’ve built and apply it to the practical and purposeful movements of Ranch Riding. We focus on clarity, feel, and partnership—developing a horse that is relaxed, willing, and responsive while maintaining correctness and quality of movement.
You’ll learn to:
• Use your seat, legs, and hands to guide with quiet confidence
• Create softness and responsiveness without losing forward intention
• Strengthen timing, feel, and consistent communication
• Develop balance, cadence, and body control in your horse
• Connect groundwork directly to transitions, maneuvers, and trail elements
• Ride patterns and obstacles with purpose, flow, and connection
This class supports both horse and rider in progressing with calmness, understanding, and true partnership—building a solid Ranch Riding team that thinks together and moves together.
Why Ranch Riding?
Ranch Riding at Michelle Jerry Heart & Hooves Horsemanship is not about speed or flash—it’s about purpose, clarity, and partnership. We aren’t chasing “big moves.” We are cultivating:
• A horse that stays with you mentally and emotionally
• A rider who leads with feel and intention
• A partnership that is steady, willing, and connected
We view horse and rider as a complete team—mind, body, and heart. When your horse follows your seat, responds softly to your leg, and carries themselves with cadence, balance, and willingness, it isn’t by accident—it’s the result of thoughtful communication and trust built over time.
This is where groundwork meets the saddle in a real and meaningful way.
This is where trail, obstacles, patterns, and everyday riding come together with purpose.
This is where your partnership becomes confident, capable, and truly in sync.
