About Emily

I have always believed that horses deserve to feel their best in both body and mind. My passion is helping them move freely, feel comfortable, and understanding why something doesn’t feel right in their bodies. I don’t just focus on the symptoms—I look for the root of the problem so the horse can truly heal and return to balance.

Every horse and owner has a story, and I take time to listen to both. I pay attention to what the owner is feeling and noticing, and I look closely at what the horse is communicating through movement, expression, and behavior. Each session is completely tailored to the horse in front of me. I evaluate their muscles, posture, movement, and overall wellbeing to create a session that fits their specific needs—not a routine or checklist.

What drives me is simple. I want horses to feel understood. I want them to be comfortable, soft in their bodies, and willing in their minds. I love helping owners understand what their horse is feeling and giving them tools to continue supporting their horse long after the session is over.

Whether I am working with a high-level performance horse, a senior partner, a horse coming back from injury, or a child’s beloved best friend, my heart and goal are always the same—to bring relief, restore comfort, and help each horse feel like themselves again.

Why add these therapies to your horse's routine?

Incorporating bodywork and therapeutic services into your horse’s regular care routine is not just for injured or performance horses—it’s one of the best ways to prevent problems before they start and help your horse thrive mentally, physically, and emotionally. These therapies support the whole horse from the inside out, helping them feel their best and perform with ease.

✔ Long-Term Soundness & Injury Prevention

  • Helps maintain proper muscle balance and symmetry, reducing the risk of strains, tendon injuries, or compensatory lameness.

  • Identifies tightness or discomfort early—before it turns into a bigger issue.

  • Keeps joints moving freely, helps maintain flexibility, and supports healthy biomechanics.

✔ Faster Recovery & Healing Support

  • Speeds up recovery after training, travel, competitions, or everyday work.

  • Increases circulation and lymphatic drainage to remove toxins, reduce swelling, and bring fresh nutrients to muscles and tissues.

  • Aids in healing from injuries, surgeries, soft tissue damage, or hoof-related stress.

✔ Improved Performance & Willingness to Work

  • Loosens tight muscles, improves range of motion, and allows freer, more fluid movement.

  • Enhances body awareness, mental clarity, and relaxation—helping horses focus and respond better to cues.

  • Supports muscle development, topline improvement, and collection by reducing physical discomfort.

✔ Mental & Emotional Wellness

  • Reduces stress, anxiety, and tension—especially for horses in heavy training, travel, or new environments.

  • Encourages relaxation of the nervous system, making horses more willing, soft, and connected with their humans.

  • Helps sensitive or reactive horses feel more comfortable and confident.

✔ Supports Every Type of Horse

These therapies are beneficial for:

  • Performance horses — to stay competitive, supple, and strong.

  • Young horses — to build healthy muscle patterns and confidence.

  • Senior horses — to stay comfortable, mobile, and pain-free.

  • Rescue or rehabilitation horses — to support healing and regain trust and balance.

  • Everyday companions — because comfort and relaxation matter to them too.
