Learning why horses do the things they do, understanding how they communicate with their humans, and having effective training exercises allows you to connect with your equine partner. Also giving you the knowledge and experience to help others.
-
Topics covered in ground control: natural horsemanship definition, two-way communication with your horse, how horses learn, evaluating the whole picture to address common issues, and much more. Skills learned include respect, desensitizing, engaging your horse’s feet, lunging, moving hind and forequarters, flexion, backing and more.

-
You will walk away from the apprenticeship program with the tools to understand your own horse, helping others through lessons and developing your own training business.

After passing the written exam and physical test you must also help teach two clinics with Michelle as an assistant trainer. (This needs to be done in the same year as the accreditation)
-
Each participant that successfully completes each requirement will receive the title of Michelle Jerry Horsemanship Accredited Trainer, Michelle Jerry Horsemanship Accreditation Buckle and Jacket.
-
Trainers successfully completing this level can be added to the Michelle Jerry Horsemanship reference list and will be allowed to use Michelle Jerry Horsemanship endorsement with prior approval.

-
A yearly 5 Day Accreditation Training will be offered to help continue your education.
