Our Ground Control Clinic is designed to help riders build a strong foundation with their horse through respect, communication, and clear direction. This 2-day clinic focuses on developing a partnership from the ground up, giving you the tools, timing, and confidence needed to create a responsive, connected, and willing horse.
This is the foundation to all that we do at Heart & Hooves Horsemanship. Everything we practice on the ground directly shows up in the saddle—your timing, your feel, your clarity, your connection. When the Ground Control is strong, the riding becomes softer, safer, and more enjoyable.
Held in our heated indoor arena, you’ll enjoy a comfortable learning space no matter the weather. Participants will also work through our indoor obstacle course, designed to build confidence, softness, and communication in a variety of situations.
This clinic is a great way to connect with your horse and strengthen your partnership through clear communication and mutual understanding.
Nichole Jopke brings a patient, clear, and supportive teaching style that meets each participant exactly where they are. Assisting throughout the weekend is Accredited Trainer Emily Miller, ensuring every horse and rider gets the attention and guidance they need.
