Demo Day 2026

Saturday, October 10, 2026

Michelle Jerry Heart & Hooves Horsemanship
Deer River, Minnesota

Demo Day is one of the days we look forward to all year.

It is the culmination of our 10-Month Program, giving participants the opportunity to step into the arena and show just how far they and their horses have come.

Throughout this 10-month journey, participants have spent months learning, practicing, working through challenges, building confidence, celebrating breakthroughs, and becoming 1% better with their horses.

Our 10-Month Programs

Participants will be showcasing the progress they have made in:

Advanced Horsemanship

Building better communication, responsiveness, softness, confidence, and partnership from the ground to the saddle.

Liberty

Developing connection, engagement, communication, and trust while working with the horse without the use of a lead rope.

Ranch Riding

Improving body control, transitions, responsiveness, precision, confidence, and the practical skills needed to create a well-rounded horse and rider.

What Is Demo Day?

Demo Day is not about being perfect.

It is about progress.

It is about giving each participant the opportunity to step into the arena and put together everything they have been working toward throughout the year.

You may see:

• Ground Control

• Advanced Horsemanship

• Liberty

• Ranch Riding

• Riding demonstrations

• Freestyles

• Individual accomplishments

• Horse-and-handler partnerships showing how far they have come

Every horse and every person has a different journey, and that is exactly what makes Demo Day so special.

Come Celebrate With Us

We invite family, friends, horse lovers, and members of our Heart & Hooves community to come spend the day with us and cheer on our participants.

Bring a chair, enjoy the demonstrations, and help us celebrate the hard work, dedication, growth, and accomplishments of these horse-and-human teams.

Celebrating the Journey

For us, Demo Day is about much more than what happens in the arena.

It represents months of commitment, lessons learned, challenges overcome, confidence gained, and relationships strengthened.

We are incredibly proud of the participants who have committed to this 10-month adventure, and we cannot wait to celebrate everything they and their horses have accomplished.

Come celebrate the progress with us on October 10!
