Program created & guided by Michelle Jerry

H&H Trailblazers Level 2 is a 10-month horsemanship program for kids who already have a strong foundation and are ready for the next step. This class advances their confidence, riding skills, communication, timing, and leadership—all in a warm, community-focused Wisconsin Northwoods environment.

H&H Trailblazers Level 2 – Hayward, WI

This 10-month program was created for young riders who already understand basic horse care and safety, can halter and lead confidently, and are beginning to work at the trot. Trailblazers helps kids strengthen their independence, deepen their communication with their horse, and develop balance, timing, feel, and confidence—both on the ground and in the saddle. From clear leadership and emotional awareness to partnership and connection, this class supports kids through every step of becoming thoughtful young horsemen and horsewomen.

What H&H Trailblazers Will Learn

• Tools that build from their existing foundation

• Ground control refinement & clearer communication

• Leadership, independence & problem-solving

• Balance, feel, rhythm & timing at the walk and trot

• Simple maneuvers that build softness & responsiveness

• Calm focus in new environments and situations

• Confidence, responsibility & emotional regulation

• Partnership skills that strengthen the bond with their horse

We meet each child exactly where they are—with patience, encouragement, and steady support.
